  How to legalise your document(s)

Before applying for our legalisation service, please make sure your document(s) have been legalised by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) of the UK government. You may visit https://www.gov.uk/get-document-legalised for their service.

 

  To legalise civil affairs documents, such as diploma, degree, police certificate, marriage certificate, birth certificate etc, please submit the following documents upon your application:

1. The original document(s) legalised by FCO and a full copy;

2. The filled Application Form of Consular Legalization of the Embassy/Consulate of the People's Republic of China, please download the form and the filling instructions at the bottom the page.

3. The copy of the applicant's passport, if the applicant could not visit our office in person, a passport copy of his/her representative is needed;

 

  To legalise commercial or organizational documents, including company registration documents, commercial correspondences etc, please submit the following documents upon your application:  

1. The original document(s) legalised by FCO and a full copy;

2. The filled Application Form of Consular Legalization of the Embassy/Consulate of the People's Republic of China, please download the form and the filling instructions at the bottom the page.

3. The passport copy of one of the company's directors (whose name is listed in the company registration documents), if one of the company's directors could not visit our office in person, a passport copy of his/her representative is needed.

 

  You also need to know:

1. No appointment is needed for legalization service, please visit our office during the office hour(for applying and collection) : 9am-12noon, Monday to Friday except holidays and ;

2. Postal application cannot be processed, the legalised documents cannot be returned by post either.

3. The representative of the applicant can apply on behalf of the applicant. A passport copy of the representative is needed.

6. How to pay and when to pay: Fees should be paid upon collection. Only debit card issued by a UK bank or postal order can be accepted for payment.
