Mr. Ni Jian arrived in Manchester on 25 September, 2008, and has now assumed his duties as the Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Manchester.

 

Mr. Ni once took posts at the Chinese Embassies in Israel. He was a deputy director general of the General Office of the Foreign Ministry before his appointment to the post of Consul General in Manchester.

 

Mr. Ni is married with one son.
